
Assistant Caregiver

Working at Li'l Lambs Child Care, you will have the opportunity to work in a state of the art child care program that is structured to accommodate the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development for young children and infants ages 4 months up to 6 years old.

- Employee may enroll own child(ren) in child care program but will not be able to get state subsidy for them.
Requirements:
- Min age requirement 16yrs old
- Current Background check and finger prints card required
- Current CPR & First Aid certification
- Must complete orientation class (2.5 hrs) before starting
- Must complete 20/hrs/yr of ongoing child care training (not required to start but must be completed by first year)
- Works well with children
- May be required to lift children up to age 3yrs.
- Work Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30-6:00 (hours may vary based on
children in care hours but will not exceed past 6:15)
- Know and understand Licensed Home Rule Interpretation

Daily Responsibilities:
- Working with infants as young as 4 months and children up to
the age of 6yrs old
- Preparing bottles
- Preparing meals
- Serving meals
- Assisting infants/children in daily activities such as: teaching
daily curriculum, reading, singing, art activities, using the
restroom, eating, washing hands, changing diapers, getting
them ready to go, putting them down for a nap, loading &
unloading children in/out of vehicle, buckling children into
vehicle, and helping children clean up.
